According to Mr. Do Van Truong, Deputy Chief of Office in charge of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Hanoi People's Council, at the 25th session, the Hanoi People's Council plans to consider 41 contents, including 16 reports and 25 contents to issue resolutions.
In particular, the Hanoi People's Council will review the results of the implementation of the socio -economic development plan for the first 6 months of 2025; tasks for the last 6 months of 2025; report on the implementation of the budget revenue and expenditure estimates for the first 6 months of the year and tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2025; report on the results of citizen reception, complaint and denunciation settlement in the first 6 months of 2025; report of the Hanoi People's Committee on crime prevention and control and law violations in the city.
Regarding resolutions, the Hanoi People's Council will consider issuing a Resolution on the commercial and cultural development zone (implementing Clause 8, Article 21 of the Capital Law); a Resolution regulating the organization and operation of the cultural industrial center (implementing Clause 7, Article 21 of the Capital Law); a Resolution on the list of underground works encouraged for investment and construction (implementing Clause 3, Article 19 of the Capital Law); a Resolution regulating preferential support measures for waste recycling activities using the best available techniques (implementing Clause 2, Article 28 of the Capital Law) and a number of other resolutions.
Along with that, in the meeting program, the Hanoi People's Council also spent half a day to conduct questioning and answering activities on the implementation of socio-economic tasks and urgent issues that Hanoi People's Council delegates and voters are interested in.
Ms. Pham Thi Thanh Mai, Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council, said that the Hanoi People's Council not only chooses hot and current content to directly supervise during the question and answer session, but also at group discussions, delegates of the Hanoi People's Council will supervise issues of concern to voters.
The focus is on counterfeit and poor quality goods; food of unknown origin; planning, planning implementation, planning adjustment; traffic organization, traffic congestion reduction; environmental pollution resolution; and the implementation of a two-level local government model.
