On July 22, information from the Ha Tinh Department of Construction said that up to now, this locality has completed a preliminary review of resettlement needs, and preliminarily determined the amount of land clearance needed for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis passing through the area.
The high-speed railway project on the North-South axis passes through Ha Tinh with a total length of about 103.42km. The starting point is in Bac Hong Linh ward, bordering Nghe An, the ending point is in Vung Ang ward, bordering Quang Binh .
The project passes through 18 communes including: Duc Quang, Duc Thinh, Can Loc, Gia Hanh, Xuan Loc, Dong Kinh, Viet Xuyen, Thach Ha, Toan Luu, Thach Xuan, Cam Due, Cam Xuyen, Cam Hung, Cam Lac, Ky Xuan, Ky Anh, Ky Van, Ky Hoa and 5 wards including: Bac Hong Linh, Nam Hong Linh, Ha Huy Tap, Song Tri, Vung Ang.
According to the design, Ha Tinh province will have 3 stations (2 passenger stations and 1 freight station) and 3 maintenance stations located in Viet Xuyen commune, Cam Lac commune and Ky Hoa commune.
According to the review of localities, the entire route through Ha Tinh is expected to affect nearly 2,000 households, of which about 1,279 households must be resettled. Therefore, it is expected to propose planning to build 35 resettlement areas with a total area of about 87.4 hectares, with an estimated cost of about 1,100 billion VND.
Currently, Ha Tinh is rushing through procedures to start construction of the first resettlement area on August 19 in Ha Huy Tap ward with an area of 4.9 hectares.
According to the plan, the goal is to simultaneously start construction of the remaining resettlement areas in October 2025, and basically complete the resettlement areas before June 2026.
According to the Ha Tinh Department of Construction, the early completion of the construction of resettlement areas is a very important task, in order to facilitate the handover of at least 80% of the project site before December 2026 and the entire site before December 2027, meeting the general progress requirements of the Government .
