Implementing Decision No. 484/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on organizing the 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census, the Ha Tinh Provincial Statistics Office has simultaneously launched and deployed the work of compiling household lists in all localities.
Nearly 2,000 investigators were mobilized, ensuring criteria on communication skills, understanding the area and proficient use of technological equipment, directly collecting information at households on electronic forms on mobile devices (CAPI).

According to the Provincial Statistics Office, some localities have a large number of households listed such as Thach Ha district (41,202 households), Cam Xuyen (40,490 households), Can Loc (37,749 households), Ha Tinh city (40,386 households),... Completing the schedule as planned not only demonstrates the efforts of the entire sector but also the close coordination from authorities at all levels, departments, branches and sectors and the positive consensus of local people.
After completing the listing step, the Statistics Department continues to carry out inspection, acceptance and information processing activities. At the same time, professional training will be organized for investigators to collect information directly in the area. In addition, propaganda work will continue to be promoted through the grassroots radio system, banners, billboards, etc. to widely disseminate the purpose, requirements and importance of the survey. From there, encourage people to actively cooperate and provide complete and honest information.

As planned, the Census will officially enter the information collection phase from July 1 to July 30, 2025 across the province.
This is a particularly important survey, aiming to provide a comprehensive picture of agriculture and rural areas. The survey results will be an important basis for the Party, the State and relevant agencies to build and adjust policies for rural and agricultural development towards modernity and sustainability, meeting the requirements of international integration and implementing national target programs in the new period.
The 2025 Agricultural and Rural Census collects basic information on agriculture, forestry, fisheries and rural areas to meet the following main purposes:
Firstly, assess the current situation, analyze changing trends, develop plans and strategies for sustainable development for rural areas and the agriculture, forestry and fishery sector, thereby improving the living standards of rural people nationwide as well as in each locality.
Second, to serve research to evaluate the scale and structure of rural labor and agricultural, forestry and fishery labor; changes in rural infrastructure; the implementation of some contents of national programs and targets in the rural and agricultural, forestry and fishery sectors; to serve international comparisons of rural and agricultural, forestry and fishery sector indicators.
Third, build a database on rural areas and agriculture, forestry and fisheries to serve in-depth research, serve as a sampling frame for a number of annual periodic surveys on agriculture, forestry and fisheries, and meet other statistical requirements.
