Over the past months, key project construction sites in Ha Tinh City have been working urgently at a bustling pace and with high concentration. From the inner city to the city's belt, the working atmosphere is bustling and vibrant everywhere with hundreds of machines and vehicles. Not only completing the progress according to the annual plan, gradually upgrading the infrastructure synchronously, creating a modern and civilized appearance for the city, the efforts of the investor and the construction unit aim to contribute with the local government to complete important tasks to prepare for the operation of the 2-level government organization model and welcome the Party Congress at all levels for the 2025-2030 term.
Mr. Nguyen Danh Phong - Deputy Director of the Management Board of Investment, Construction and Land Fund Development of Ha Tinh City said: "Currently, the area is implementing projects of urban development, infrastructure, schools, etc. In the past time, although the weather was not favorable, the Management Board focused on directing construction sites to work overtime, increase shifts, mobilize human resources, machinery, resolutely and responsibly to speed up construction progress, complete or exceed the set plan. At the same time, to ensure preparation for the implementation of administrative unit arrangement, we focused on completing documents, acceptance, payment, and settlement of completed works; adjusting documents and files of projects, facilitating the reception, handover, and storage as required.
The city strives to complete the construction progress and tasks of the Project Management Board as soon as possible before the time of organization and arrangement of administrative units, creating conditions for synchronous use of infrastructure, serving traffic, business, trade and people's daily life and meeting the requirements of urban development in the new stage".
The most exciting projects are probably the upgrading and refurbishment of the city’s main transport infrastructure. Since 2023, the city has prioritized resources to renovate and upgrade dozens of roads, creating a spacious and modern appearance. At this time, Nguyen Cong Tru, Vu Quang, Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Mai Thuc Loan, etc. are entering the final peak construction phase.
Mr. Le Hoai Nam - technical officer of Vinh Phu Construction Company Limited, the construction unit of the project to upgrade and renovate Nguyen Cong Tru Street (from Hai Thuong Lan Ong Street to Nguyen Du Street) said: "The project started in February 2025, renovating the infrastructure and rebuilding the sidewalks of the route. To implement the city's direction to speed up the construction progress, we have mobilized all machinery, equipment and workers to complete each item. Currently, the company is renovating the technical infrastructure items on the right side of the route, and has completed about 65% of the contracted volume."
At the project to upgrade and beautify Xo Viet Nghe Tinh Avenue, the construction unit is a joint venture of Tan Hai Son Construction Joint Stock Company and HD Consulting and Construction Joint Stock Company, which is also focusing on paving the sidewalk, installing curbs, weaving ditches, etc. According to the progress schedule, the project has completed about 45% of the volume and is striving to complete before July 19, contributing to the joyful atmosphere of the first days when the 2-level government organization model officially comes into operation.
The project to renovate and upgrade the sidewalks and technical infrastructure of Vu Quang Street (from Tran Phu Street to Dong Bridge), the route connecting the center to the West, is also in the concentrated construction phase. The project has completed about 35% of the volume, expected to be completed and handed over next November.
Along with projects to upgrade and improve the infrastructure of main traffic routes, the city also focuses on investing in building infrastructure systems for schools, landscapes, and renovating Nui Nai Martyrs Cemetery. These essential infrastructures are preparing Ha Tinh City to move to a new, solid development stage, ensuring that it meets the standards of a civilized, modern urban area.
Mr. Phan Anh Xuan - construction technical officer (Bao Toan Joint Stock Company) said: "The project to build Dai Nai Secondary School at the new location is being carried out by the Bac Thanh Bao joint venture (Bao Toan Joint Stock Company; Bac A Construction and Trade Joint Stock Company; Thanh Linh Construction and Trade Company Limited; Thuan Phat Construction and Safety Equipment Joint Stock Company). According to the schedule, the project will be completed in December 2025, but we are determined to finish 2 months early and hand over the project before September 30. At this time, the construction site always maintains 40 - 50 workers working continuously, ensuring the progress is critical."
Spacious roads, synchronous residential areas, and solidly completed electricity and drainage systems... All are vivid evidence of the city's rise and aspiration for breakthrough, as well as affirming its confidence before the historic moment - Ha Tinh City enters a new chapter of development.
