Turkey striker Erling Haaland cried with emotion after the Champions League final between Man City and Inter.

"It's been a long time since I cried," Haaland told AS . "This is the best moment I've ever had. It's magical."

At Ataturk Stadium, Istanbul, Turkey, June 10, Man City beat Inter 1-0 in the final. Rodri scored the decisive goal for the English team in the 68th minute. Haaland was also delighted that Man City won the Champions League for the first time in their history. He hopes this will be one of many European titles the club will win.

This season, Haaland has contributed 52 goals in 53 matches for Man City. On an individual basis, he won the Premier League, Champions League and European Golden Boot awards. When asked about his next challenge, Haaland replied: "I don't know. Right now I'm just thinking about celebrating."

This season, the Champions League is Man City's third title. Previously, Haaland and his teammates won the Premier League and FA Cup. Man City became the eighth team to win the European treble, after Celtic, Ajax, PSV, Man Utd, Barca, Inter and Bayern.

Guardiola holds the record for winning two trebles and doing so with two different teams. He won his first treble with Barca in the 2008-2009 season.

Man City have won nine English championships, seven FA Cups, eight English League Cups and one Cup Winners' Cup. The 2022-2023 Champions League makes them the sixth English team to win the European Cup, after Liverpool, Man Utd, Chelsea, Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa.
