The province currently has 165 agricultural cooperatives operating in association with businesses along the value chain, an increase of 5 cooperatives compared to 2023 and accounting for over 30% of the total number of cooperatives in the province. The average revenue of each cooperative is estimated at about 2 billion VND/year, with a profit of 150 million VND/year/cooperative.
Cooperatives with typical joint activities include: Duc Chinh Agricultural Services, Cam Van (Cam Giang), Nam Vu Clean Agriculture (Thanh Ha), Tan Ky High-Tech Aquaculture (Tu Ky), Tan Minh Duc, Xuyen Viet Aquaculture Production and Trade (Gia Loc), Hoang Nam Phat ( Hai Duong City)...
Most cooperatives act as intermediaries between farmers and businesses to link consumption of products such as vegetables, tubers, fruits, fish, pork, eggs, etc. Some cooperatives supply input materials and guide farmers on the process and techniques of care to ensure good quality. Linked chains play an important role in promoting agricultural production in localities. In particular, cooperatives have promoted the role of collective economic organizations to link farmers and members together to apply common technical processes in production to create large volumes of products with uniform quality.
