The play is inspired by the famous fairy tale by writer Andersen, telling the story of the arduous journey of a girl named Eliza overcoming all dangers to save her brothers who have been turned into swans.
Through that, the work honors courage, family affection, sacrifice and love - core life values that need to be nurtured early in every child.
Staged in a modern style, the puppet show “The Swans” harmoniously combines traditional puppetry with advanced stage techniques. The sound and lighting systems, character creation, and cinematic storytelling promise to bring a vivid and engaging experience to young audiences.
In addition, the play also helps children develop their emotions, aesthetic thinking and imagination, important factors in the comprehensive development of young children.
The play will officially premiere at Hai Phong City Theater from August 12-31, 2025.
