Hai Phong stops operations of 2 hotels violating regulations in Cat Ba

Accordingly, on June 24 and 28, Hai Phong City Police coordinated with Cat Hai District Police to inspect three business establishments including King Gold karaoke, Viet Hoa Hotel and Tuong Vi Hotel, all in Cat Ba town, Cat Hai district.

At the time of inspection, King Gold karaoke had 2 singing rooms with 50 guests. The representative of the bar could not present documents and administrative procedures related to karaoke business activities.

Viet Hoa Hotel with 19/33 rented guest rooms, 79 guests, has not been able to present documents and administrative procedures related to accommodation service business activities; Tuong Vi Hotel with 11/23 rented guest rooms, 40 guests, has not been able to present documents and records for fire prevention and fighting and rescue inspection, the escape route is not of the required size and quantity, and the fire alarm and fire fighting system is not installed as prescribed.

The working group reminded, drew up a record of violations, requested the two accommodation establishments to stop operating, and the karaoke establishment to strictly comply with relevant regulations. At the same time, the case was handed over to Cat Hai District Police for handling and instructed the three establishments to comply with legal regulations.

Previously, at 10:45 p.m. on June 27, authorities inspected Kinh Dong karaoke business in Doan Xa 1 village, Doan Xa commune, Kien Thuy district.

At the time of inspection, Kinh Dong karaoke business had 2 rooms with 10 guests (6 male and 4 female) and had not yet presented any records or inspection reports on fire prevention and fighting. The working group reminded, drew up a record of violations, and requested Kinh Dong karaoke business to strictly comply with regulations.
