The Hai Phong City Military Command said that on the morning of May 5, at the City Theater Square, forces from various units conducted the first joint training program, reviewing the troops and marching in preparation for the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation Day and the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025.
Up to this point, the training of the blocks has reached 90% of the content.
It is expected that 45 groups will participate in the program of reviewing the troops and mass parade; each group will have 70 people. Of which, 21 groups will be armed forces units, the remaining 24 groups will be mass parade and model cars.
The Hai Phong City Military Command alone consists of 11 units and an honor guard; 10 units come from the city's armed forces and military units stationed in the area.
To ensure security, order and traffic safety, Hai Phong City Police have arranged traffic police forces at 15 checkpoints and areas where joint training activities take place.
According to the plan, the program of reviewing the troops and mass parade in the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Hai Phong's liberation and the Red Flamboyant Festival - Hai Phong 2025 will be conducted on May 7 and 9; the general rehearsal will start at 7:30 a.m. on May 10 and officially take place at 7:30 a.m. on May 11 at the City Theater Square and the streets in the city center.
