Two domestic gold brands both rose this morning (April 1). Notably, the difference between SJC gold and world gold remains high.
At 9:00 a.m., Phu Quy Gold Company adjusted the price up by 300,000 VND/tael, but then adjusted it down by 100,000 VND/tael immediately afterwards. Currently, this company is trading around 78.80-80.90 million VND/tael.
Saigon Jewelry Company listed the price of SJC gold in Ho Chi Minh City at 78.30-80.8 million VND/tael, and in Hanoi and Da Nang, the buying/selling price was 78.30-80.82 million VND/tael, an increase of 100,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price.
At the same time, Doji Company listed from 78.80-80.80 million VND/tael, unchanged from the previous session.
Meanwhile, the price of Rong Thang Long gold of Bao Tin Minh Chau is listed at 70.23-71.43 million VND/tael (buy/sell), up 500,000 VND/tael compared to the previous closing price. The difference in buying/selling price remains at 1.2 million VND/tael.
In the world, the price of gold increased to 2,257 USD/ounce, adding nearly 24 USD compared to the same time in the previous session. This price when converted is equivalent to 67.91 million VND/tael, cheaper than the domestic SJC brand by about 12.81 million VND/tael.
This morning, the State Bank listed the central exchange rate at 24,004 VND/USD, up 1 VND compared to the previous session.
With a margin of +/-5%, Vietcombank announced the buying price at 24,645 VND/USD and the selling price at 24,975 VND/USD, an increase of 5 VND. BIDV applied the exchange rate from 24,660-24,970 VND/USD, an increase of 5 VND.
Eximbank also announced an increase of 10 VND, currently trading at 24,580-24,980 VND. Meanwhile, VietinBank decreased by 40 VND, currently listed at 24,648-24,988 VND/USD (buy/sell).
