On May 8, in Da Nang City, the School of Medicine and Pharmacy - Da Nang University and the Vietnam College of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology held a working session to exchange professional experience and qualifications and held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding (MOU), opening up many opportunities for cooperation in training and scientific research in the medical field.
According to the agreement, the two schools will coordinate to implement training programs in the health sector, including university bridging classes and short-term training courses.

Students of Vietnam College of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology will have the opportunity to transfer to university at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy - Danang University through programs that are jointly developed, suitable for training practices and the needs of medical human resources.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Le Viet Nho - Principal of the School of Medicine and Pharmacy - University of Danang emphasized: "We highly appreciate the initiative and cooperative spirit of the Vietnam College of Medical Technology and Pharmacy in developing medical human resources together. The signing today is an important first step for the two units to jointly implement practical programs, creating learning and career development opportunities for students, while contributing to improving the quality of community health care."
Also at the event, Mr. Nguyen Van Anh - Principal of Vietnam College of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology shared: "The cooperation with the School of Medicine and Pharmacy - Danang University opens up a great opportunity for our students to study in a formal, systematic and convenient way to university. This is an important path to help them develop their expertise, improve their qualifications, thereby increasing their competitiveness and affirming their professional position in the medical field."
A notable point in this agreement is that Vietnam College of Medical and Pharmaceutical Technology will prioritize recruiting graduates from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy – Danang University. At the same time, college students who complete the transfer program will also have more career opportunities in the education and healthcare systems of the two schools.
The two sides also agreed to jointly exploit and share facilities for training, practice and scientific research.

The School of Medicine and Pharmacy – University of Danang is a public training institution under the University of Danang, specializing in multidisciplinary training in the field of health such as Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, Laboratory Technology, Hospital Management... The school focuses on scientific research and technology transfer, meeting the demand for high-quality human resources for the Central Highlands and the whole country.
Meanwhile, Vietnam College of Medical Technology and Pharmacy is a specialized training unit in fields such as Pharmacy, Nursing, Rehabilitation Techniques, Traditional Medicine... with a modern practice system, closely linked with medical facilities and businesses.
The signing of the cooperation agreement is an important first step for the two schools to implement specific programs, contributing to the development of quality medical human resources, effectively serving the work of community health care.
On this occasion, Vietnam College of Medical Technology and some hospitals in Da Nang provided career counseling to nearly 300 students preparing to graduate, including general medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, etc.
