In order to meet the increased travel demand during the National Day holiday on September 2, while ensuring safety, convenience and improving service quality, Hanoi Railway One Member Limited Liability Company (Hanoi Metro) has implemented an operation plan for both the Cat Linh-Ha Dong and Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station urban railway lines.
On August 29-30, two Hanoi urban railway lines will be extended to increase passenger service.
Specifically, on August 29, the train operates continuously from 5:30 a.m. on August 29 to 3:10 a.m. on August 30, with a frequency of 10 minutes/trip.
On August 30, the train runs from 4:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. The frequency from 4:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. and from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. is 6 minutes/trip, the remaining time slots are 10 minutes/trip.
Hanoi Metro also noted that from 3:10 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. on August 30, the train will temporarily stop for technical maintenance and system inspection to ensure safe operation afterwards.
From 00:00 on August 30 to September 2, 2025, passengers traveling at all stations on the two urban railway lines Cat Linh-Ha Dong and Nhon-Hanoi Railway Station will be exempted from train tickets.
In addition, Hanoi Metro has installed 15 mobile toilets outside Cat Linh Station (4 at Alley 167 Hao Nam), and 4 more toilets outside Cau Giay Station to help passengers proactively clean themselves before boarding the train.
In order to ensure the safety and best experience for passengers when using the train during the A80 events, Hanoi Metro recommends that passengers follow the instructions of station staff, especially when queuing at the ticket counter, queuing on the platform and boarding the train, absolutely do not jostle or push, causing insecurity for yourself and those around you.
Passengers should eat well, prepare drinks and snacks, especially during rush hour when there are many passengers and they may have to queue for a long time; passengers should pay attention to protecting their personal belongings, avoid losing them or being taken advantage of.
Passengers should prioritize using the restroom inside the station before exiting the ticket gate, and note that once outside, they will not be able to return to the station area./.
