

Visiting the Nam Long 2 social housing area, the Prime Minister highly appreciated Can Tho City for its good investment and construction of social housing projects in recent times. At the same time, he noted that in the coming time, it is important for the locality to choose capable investors, share profits with the locality, contribute to reducing real estate prices, and be suitable for workers' incomes.
According to the Department of Construction of Can Tho City, the Government assigned the city to build about 16,900 social housing units by 2030. To date, the city has implemented 10 projects, of which 3 have been completed (more than 3,300 units) and 7 are underway. The People's Committee of Can Tho City has set a target of implementing 50 social housing projects with a total area of 550 hectares from now to 2030. Can Tho City is determined to complete the social housing target assigned by the Prime Minister by 2030.

Next, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited the Public Administration Service Center of Hung Phu Ward. The Prime Minister met, talked, and discussed work with ward officials; and asked people about the results of handling public administrative procedures.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the transition to a two-tier local government model is a step from management to development creation, serving people and businesses. The Prime Minister requested Can Tho City to promote the construction, integration, and connection of databases, especially in the fields of justice, land, and business; at the same time, perfecting digital technology infrastructure, expanding bandwidth, promoting the "digital literacy" movement, and guiding people to participate in digital transformation. Thereby, forming digital citizens, digital government, digital economy, digital society; creating the habit of using online public services, contributing to reducing travel time and compliance costs for people.

At noon of the same day, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and his delegation and leaders of Can Tho City visited and presented gifts to patients being treated at Can Tho City Oncology Hospital (old headquarters).
