
According to the Department of Construction of Lam Dong province, implementing the direction of the Provincial People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 7141/UBND-XDCT dated November 14, 2025 on consulting and proposing content related to the new administrative - political center of the province.
Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Finance and related departments, branches, agencies, units and localities to research and review the planning, investment plans, and construction of the province's new administrative-political center, and advise and propose to the Provincial People's Committee in November 2025.

According to the Department of Construction, the consultation and proposal to the Provincial People's Committee on the new administrative-political center of Lam Dong province is of special importance to the new Lam Dong province after the arrangement and merger of the three provinces of Binh Thuan, Lam Dong and Dak Nong.
During the implementation process, we must be extremely careful and spend a lot of time reviewing, surveying, synthesizing research, analyzing, and evaluating the planning, investment and construction potential of each specific area to select and propose the most convincing, optimal, and effective solutions.

Therefore, the Department of Construction proposed that the Provincial People's Committee extend the consultation period for the new Provincial Administrative - Political Center to December 2025. At the same time, the Department also proposed that the Provincial People's Committee allow the Department of Construction to select a consulting unit to implement the proposal, ensuring objectivity and efficiency.
Lam Dong is a coastal mountainous province located in the South Central region, Central Vietnam. Lam Dong has an area of 24,233 km², the largest province in Vietnam after merging from the three old provinces of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong; population: 3,872,999 people, ranked 12th in the country.
