The Traffic Police Department, Ho Chi Minh City Police Department has just issued information about restricting traffic through the area where emergency fire and explosion response plans are being practiced and where evacuation, fire fighting, and rescue are being organized at festivals and events with large crowds in the city.
Accordingly, in order to ensure order and traffic safety (TTATGT) for the organization of the drill, the Traffic Police Department informs people about traffic restrictions through the Nguyen Hue walking street area, Ben Bach Dang park (opposite Nguyen Hue - Ton Duc Thang street) and the area of wharf No. 3 of the City Passenger Wharf - Saigon River.
Traffic restrictions are from 5:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. on January 7 and 8; from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on January 9; from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on January 10; and from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on January 11.

Restricted traffic routes include: Ton Duc Thang Street (from the intersection of Nguyen Tat Thanh - Hoang Dieu through Khanh Hoi Bridge to Me Linh Square Roundabout, both directions; from the intersection of Ho Tung Mau - Vo Van Kiet to the underpass under Khanh Hoi Bridge);
Ham Nghi Street (from Ho Tung Mau Street to Ton Duc Thang Street, both directions); Nguyen Hue Street (from Ngo Duc Ke Street to Ton Duc Thang Street, both directions); Vo Van Kiet Street (from Pasteur Street to Ho Tung Mau Street); Dong Khoi Street (from Ho Huan Nghiep Street to Ton Duc Thang Street); Ngo Duc Ke Street (from Me Linh Roundabout to Nguyen Hue Street, both directions); Ho Huan Nghiep Street (from Me Linh Roundabout to Dong Khoi Street).

Directions from District 5 to District 1, Binh Thanh:
Route 1: Vo Van Kiet - Pasteur - Le Loi - Hai Ba Trung - Me Linh Square Roundabout - Ton Duc Thang.
Route 2: Vo Van Kiet - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Tran Hung Dao - Le Loi - Hai Ba Trung - Me Linh Square Roundabout - Ton Duc Thang.
Directions from District 4 to District 1, Binh Thanh:
Route 1: Nguyen Tat Thanh - Hoang Dieu - Ong Lanh Bridge - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Tran Hung Dao - Le Loi - Dong Khoi - Mac Thi Buoi - Me Linh Square Roundabout - Ton Duc Thang.
Route 2: Nguyen Tat Thanh - Hoang Dieu - Ong Lanh bridge - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Nguyen Thi Nghia - Ly Tu Trong - Pasteur - Le Duan - Ton Duc Thang.
Directions from District 1, Binh Thanh to District 4, 5:
Route 1: Ton Duc Thang - Le Thanh Ton - Pham Hong Thai - Phu Dong roundabout - Nguyen Thai Hoc - Ong Lanh bridge - Hoang Dieu - go to district 4.
Route 2: Ton Duc Thang - Le Thanh Ton - Pham Hong Thai - Phu Dong roundabout - Nguyen Thi Nghia - Nguyen Thai Hoc - go to district 4, 5.
Route 3: Ton Duc Thang - Hai Ba Trung - Lam Son Square - Le Loi - Tran Hung Dao - go to District 4, 5.
