Passenger left backpack containing millions of foreign currency and jewelry at Noi Bai airport

At around 10:00 p.m. on October 20, while on duty, Mr. Duong Tien Dat - Security Team of Noi Bai International Airport, discovered a brown backpack left on the A2 Customs X-ray machine - Noi Bai T2 Terminal.

$6,975 and 2.7 million won along with many jewelry left at the airport

Determining that it was a forgotten luggage, Mr. Dat informed his colleague, Mr. Viet, to coordinate the inspection. Upon inspection, the backpack contained 6,975 USD and 2.7 million won (equivalent to over 220 million VND) along with many jewelry items and important personal documents bearing the name of Vuong Xuan Ch.

Immediately, Mr. Dat and Mr. Viet reported and made a handover record to the L&F department of VIAGS Noi Bai.

At around 2am on October 21, Mr. Vuong Xuan Ch. panicked and returned to the airport to look for it. At that time, this tourist met Mr. Viet. After hearing Mr. Ch. describe the backpack and the assets inside, Mr. Viet identified the correct owner and tried to contact VIAGS Noi Bai.

Mr. Ch. received back his backpack and forgotten property.

Receiving the backpack back, Mr. Ch. said that it was his entire salary from working in Korea for 10 years. Mr. Ch. felt lucky to have received support from Noi Bai airport security forces to find his property.
