Speaking with VietNamNet on the morning of May 25, Principal of Nguyen Trai High School ( Quang Nam ) Nguyen Thi Nu Hanh said that the school has been giving year-end awards to students with excellent academic achievements and excellent students for the past 3 years.
“Giving travel suitcases to students comes from their interests and wishes. When students enter grade 11, they are all eager to strive to receive the award in grade 12,” Ms. Hanh shared.

According to Ms. Hanh, when discussing the students' wishes with their parents, they also received agreement, so the teachers were also motivated to "create" by making flowers attached to each suitcase as a more meaningful reward for the students...
“After receiving the award, some students shared it online, and the school also received many encouraging comments. The students were able to choose the size and color of the gift, so the school tried its best with the hope that “the students would have a sturdy suitcase that could hold many things as their luggage for the next step,” Ms. Hanh shared.
The value of the suitcase is greater than the reward, so the school used part of the budget, called for socialized resources (subsidized) and parents agreed to contribute. The school has maintained this form of reward for the children for 3 consecutive years. In the first year, the school had 130 students receive the suitcase, in the second year, 160 students and this year, 198 students.
On May 26, the school will hold a closing ceremony for the 2024-2025 school year. Grade 12 students will have a farewell ceremony and receive rewards for their efforts in the learning process.
