The Kate Festival of the Cham people is an occasion for people to express their beliefs and the beauty of their folk culture. The traditional Kate Festival takes place widely in localities in the province. The festival also includes rice pounding competitions, blindfolded pot smashing competitions, and offerings decoration competitions on Thola and Co Bong; Saranai trumpet blowing competitions and water team obstacle course competitions, etc.

The Kate Festival at the Po Sah Inư Tower relic was restored in 2005 and held annually to meet the spiritual and emotional needs of the Cham people, becoming the soul of cultural and spiritual activities, containing many values of folk beliefs and religions. Along with the spiritual life, the economic life of the Cham people in the province is increasingly changing, transforming rapidly and in harmony with the general development of the country.
Currently, Lam Dong has 49 ethnic groups; of which, the Cham people have over 43,000 people, living concentrated in communes in the eastern region of the province.
In recent years, the historical and cultural relics of the Cham people have effectively promoted their values, becoming indispensable destinations in tours and tourist routes, attracting domestic and foreign tourists such as: Po Sah Inư Tower Relic, Cham Royal Cultural Heritage Collection, Po Nit Temple, etc.

In addition, there are two heritages of the Cham people included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, including: Traditional pottery of the Cham people in Binh Duc village, Bac Binh commune and Kate Festival of the Cham people in Binh Thuan province; two national treasures: Golden Linga and Avalokitesvara Statue of Bac Binh. In particular, there is the collection of Cham Royal heritages kept and preserved at the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Them in Tinh My village, Hong Thai commune.
