According to Pham Huynh Bao Anh (22 years old, residing in Ho Chi Minh City), each young person can contribute concretely to building a civilized and compassionate society.

Having experienced the pain of losing her grandfather to leukemia, Bao Anh has always longed to do something meaningful. Over the years, Bao Anh has participated in voluntary blood donation more than 10 times at the Ho Chi Minh City Humanitarian Blood Donation Center. "The lessons about love and sharing were instilled in me by my parents since I was a child, and I consider them my life ideals," Bao Anh confided.

Pham Quynh Bao Anh views these blood donation cards and organ donation registration cards as a collection of happiness created from her own small contributions.

Actively participating in volunteer activities and bringing joy to others is an opportunity for Bao Anh to contribute and express gratitude for what she has. A recent memorable experience was her volunteer trip to Mang Den during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival. The image of the children with their dark skin, neatly lined up in the cold rain, their innocent eyes and bright smiles welcoming the visiting volunteer group, deeply moved her.

Bao Anh has become more responsible and thoughtful in her actions after registering to donate tissues and organs to national medicine.

Interacting with students in mountainous areas and sharing stories with dedicated teachers who bring literacy to remote villages helped Bao Anh better understand the difficulties that people there frequently face. Through this experience, the Gen Z girl gained a broader perspective on life. The trip further motivated her to work harder, accumulate solid resources, and steadfastly pursue humanitarian values.

Another significant milestone this year for Bao Anh is her decision to register as an organ donor, hoping to give new life to patients in need. She believes that organ donation also allows donors to continue to be present with their loved ones for a longer period. This important decision was supported by her family and has become a guiding principle for her increasingly healthy and balanced lifestyle. Even better, many of her peers have been inspired by her to live better lives and be more willing to give.
