Revealing the 'vampire' armor in Diablo IV season 2

The new Diablo IV armor looks pretty creepy, actually. It’s clearly vampire-inspired, with blood stains on the gothic-style armor decorated with gold. The bat wings and bat-winged belt and the hood look very mysterious.

Interestingly, the character's hands also look like vampires when wearing the armor. It's unclear whether this is an effect of the armor or due to vampire powers that will appear in season 2. However, it's an interesting detail that gamers will appreciate.

According to Blizzard, Diablo IV season 2, titled "Season of Blood," will launch on October 17, 2023. As revealed during the developer's livestream, Diablo IV will also launch on Steam on the same day as season 2.

“We’re trying to get more people playing Diablo IV because it’s launching on Steam at the same time as Season 2,” said community manager Adam Fletcher. “If you have friends on Battle.net and you want to play on Steam, of course you can play together from both sides, which is awesome.”

Diablo IV Season 2 will introduce a new questline, new vampire powers, and five new bosses and unique new items. "At the behest of the dark master, an army of ferocious vampires will target Sanctuary. The master's sinister plot remains a mystery, but the hunt will cause a stir. You must learn to hunt or avoid the vampire hunter," Adam Fletcher added.
