According to RT , the statement was made when journalists asked Mr. Peskov on August 28 whether Mr. Putin planned to make any foreign trips soon and mentioned the arrest warrant issued by the International Criminal Court (ICC) against the Russian president in March this year.
Mr Peskov replied that such trips were planned for the fall but did not elaborate on Mr Putin's intended destination and itinerary.
"We will inform you at the appropriate time. For obvious reasons, we do not want to inform in advance," Mr. Peskov said.

The Kremlin spokesman also confirmed that a meeting between Russian President Putin and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is being arranged and will take place soon. An official announcement on the date and location will be made soon.
In early August, the Turkish president's office said the Russian leader would visit the country for talks; but later Turkish media reported that the meeting could take place in Russia.
A diplomatic source told TASS news agency last week that the two heads of state would meet in the Russian resort of Sochi on September 4. Three other sources recently told Middle East Eye the same information.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg quoted Turkish officials as saying that Mr. Putin and Mr. Erdogan will meet in Moscow on September 8, focusing on restoring the Black Sea grain deal because Ankara is keen for Moscow to return to the deal.
Putin's foreign trips have been limited since the Russia-Ukraine conflict broke out in late February 2022, except for a visit to Iran in July last year.
