Revealing the list of Galaxy devices that will be 'upgraded' to One UI 8 soon

Samsung is working hard to bring One UI 8 to users, aiming to bring a better experience, simplify daily tasks and improve productivity on Galaxy devices.

Samsung is currently testing One UI 8 on a number of older Galaxy devices to ensure stability before the final version is released. The testing is a sign that these Galaxy devices will be updated, although a specific time for the rollout has not been determined.

One UI 8 is being tested on various devices

List of Galaxy devices being tested for One UI 8, including:

- Galaxy S25, S25 Edge, S25+ and S25 Ultra.

- Galaxy S24, S24 FE, S24+ and S24 Ultra.

- Galaxy S23, S23 FE, S23+ and S23 Ultra.

- Galaxy S22, S22 Ultra and S22+.

- Galaxy Tab S10, S10 Ultra and S10+.

- Galaxy Tab S9, S9 Ultra and S9+.

- Galaxy A56, A55, A54 and A53.

- Galaxy A36, A35, A34 and A33.

- Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6.

- Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5.

- Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4.

- Galaxy M36 and M35.

- Galaxy F34.

- Galaxy F15.

Currently, only the latest Galaxy S25 series has access to the Public Beta program. For the rest of the devices on the list, Samsung is conducting internal testing by its engineering team and has not opened it to the general public.

Samsung has recently confirmed that it will release One UI 8 stable version this summer, which suggests that the official launch of the new update is getting closer – most likely towards the end of August.

Samsung is the first non-Google brand to release the Android 16 update, which is the foundation of One UI 8. The release is the result of major changes in the South Korean tech company's software rollout strategy.
