“My naturalization process is underway. It’s not an easy process, but I have a lot of support from my teammates, the club and the federation. The Brazilian Embassy is also helping me. I believe everything will be fine,” Hendrio told the media before Hanoi ’s training session on the afternoon of July 10.

The Brazilian-born player also confirmed that he is increasingly adapting to life and football in Vietnam. Hendrio revealed: "I am still learning and improving every day. I often chat with my teammates and live together, so my Vietnamese speaking ability has improved significantly."

In daily life and training, Hendrio has to switch flexibly between languages. "I often translate for Daniel because he doesn't speak English. I switch from Portuguese to English. But with my Vietnamese teammates, I mainly speak Vietnamese. During training, I will use English with the coaching staff, then translate back to Daniel," he continued.

When asked about his personal goals, Hendrio emphasized the role of the team. According to him, Van Quyet and the players of Hanoi are all versatile players. The Brazilian striker himself also realizes that he can play in many positions. His biggest goal at his new team is to help the capital team become stronger and win the championship next season.

Regarding the issue of using foreign players in V.League, Hendrio gave a frank opinion. He said that this needs to be carefully considered to ensure harmony between financial and professional factors.

"For some teams, registering four foreign players but not using them all will be costly. The tournament needs to find a balance so that all clubs find it reasonable, only then can it develop sustainably," he said.

The midfielder born in 1994 affirmed that foreign players are still an important factor to increase competitiveness and promote the development of domestic players. "Foreign players make the tournament more attractive. Young players will have more motivation to compete. But as I said, there needs to be a reasonable balance," Hendrio concluded.

Hanoi will start gathering and training again on July 10. To prepare for the new season, the capital team will have a training trip in Hai Phong from July 14.
