As part of Herbalife’s long-term nutrition sponsorship program for VPA, Herbalife representatives were present at the tournament to provide product support and nutritional advice to Vietnamese athletes throughout the event. Herbalife Vietnam representatives coordinated with VPA to encourage and award all gold medalists at the 2023 Southeast Asian Para Games .
Herbalife Vietnam awarded bonuses to athletes: Nguyen Thi Hai (gold medal in weightlifting), Le Van Cong (gold medal in weightlifting), Nguyen Binh An (gold medal in weightlifting), Vo Thanh Tung (gold medal in swimming), Vo Huynh Anh Khoa (gold medal in swimming), Do Thanh Hai (gold medal in swimming), Chau Hoang Tuyet Loan (gold medal in weightlifting) and other athletes in swimming, weightlifting, chess, and athletics.
The Vietnamese Disabled Sports Delegation impressed by winning 11 more Gold medals on the second official competition day at the 12th ASEAN Para Games. As of June 5, the Vietnamese Disabled Sports Delegation had won a total of 29 Gold medals, 26 Silver medals, and 39 Bronze medals, ranking 3rd on the medal tally at the 12th ASEAN Para Games.
