(CLO) Hezbollah will continue to operate even after the war with Israel ends, including helping Lebanese people return to their villages and rebuilding areas devastated by Israeli airstrikes.

This message was emphasized by Mr. Hassan Fadlallah, a senior Hezbollah official and member of the Lebanese Parliament , on Tuesday (November 26).

"From now on, we affirm that the Resistance (Hezbollah) will continue to exist, operate and maintain its mission," Mr. Fadlallah said.

He also said that after the conflict ends, Hezbollah will shift from fighting on the battlefield to helping people return to their homes and rebuilding devastated areas.

"Hezbollah's health , social and development organizations are ready for 'tomorrow' and will coordinate with the Lebanese government to assist refugees, clear rubble, bury victims and rebuild the area," Fadlallah added.

Fadlallah was referring to the Israeli air force's increased airstrikes on Tuesday afternoon, focusing on Beirut and the capital's southern suburbs.

Hezbollah’s pledges are not only intended to reinforce its role in supporting the Lebanese people, but also to exert political and humanitarian pressure in a country that has suffered heavy losses. Reconstruction and security after the war are expected to be a major challenge for both Hezbollah and the Lebanese government.
