Hanoi streets are bright with red and yellow... towards the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day.

The headquarters of the People’s Council and the People’s Committee of Hanoi stands out with many large-scale billboards. The slogans printed on billboards, posters, banners… show that Hanoi today is honored as the Capital of conscience and human dignity, a city for peace , a civilized, modern urban area, worthy of being the Capital of a dynamic, innovative and developing country.

Capital Liberation Day October 10, 1954 is a milestone in the history of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people.

Around Hoan Kiem Lake (Hoan Kiem District) are decorated with many billboards and posters to welcome. This is a meaningful propaganda activity, reminding today's generation to understand and appreciate more the peace that generations of fathers and brothers had to sacrifice so much blood to gain.

The 70th anniversary of the liberation of the capital is an opportunity for each citizen to look back on the glorious history, growth and development of Hanoi, and continue to build the capital to overcome all difficulties and challenges.

70 years have passed, the sacred memories of the Capital Liberation Day still leave generations of Hanoians with indescribable emotions. For those Hanoians who witnessed that historic moment, they can never forget that heroic memory.

At the Trang Tien - Hang Bai intersection, on the big screen of a shopping mall, propaganda and agitation paintings were shown highlighting historical significance, revolutionary traditions, patriotism, national pride, and love for Hanoi. These projections were the results of a propaganda painting contest to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital.

The National Archives Center also displays some documents about the Capital Liberation Day at the Hoan Kiem Lake walking space for people to follow and feel the heroic historical value of the Capital.

The official symbol of the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day was placed in many densely populated areas, roundabouts, and squares, attracting people's attention.

Xa Dan Street (Dong Da District) is colorful before the anniversary.

Suburban districts far from the center such as Hoai Duc, Dan Phuong... have also decorated to celebrate the special anniversary of the Capital.
