The works in the exhibition are strongly inspired by daily life as creative materials. The theme “Connection” helps viewers feel the deep connections between people and their homeland and country. Street corners or countryside, highlands or seas, bridges or firelight by the kitchen are not simply objects borrowed to tell memories or thoughts, but also a symbol of the constant connection between people and nature as an inseparable entity.

Mr. Le Xuan Kieu, Director of the Center for Cultural and Scientific Activities of the Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam said: “For us, heritage is not only the tangible and intangible values that have been recognized over time, but also the current life flows expressed through works of art. Co-organizing the exhibition 'Connect' with the Hanoi Watercolor Artists Club shows our respect for beauty and art in general. We hope that through the exhibition, the beauty of art will reach more of the public.”

“Connect” is an emotional gathering of artistic creations with a deep spirit of connection. The exhibition is the fourth annual activity of the Hanoi Watercolor Artists Club, gathering watercolor works that are diverse in both theme and style.

According to Painter Bui Thanh Viet Hung, Chairman of the Hanoi Watercolor Artists Club: “The Hanoi Watercolor Artists Club in 2025 has many memorable milestones when it officially has an office at 22 Thanh Cong with the active and regular participation of 70 member artists, and is also a bridge connecting to guest artists from the North, Central and South, international friends and partner clubs such as I Draw, VWA... The Hanoi Watercolor Artists Club not only actively operates in the field of creation and exchange, spreading art but also proactively and directly participates in many community activities”.

In addition to the painting exhibition, the “Connect” exhibition also organizes experiential programs such as performances, art talks, community painting, printing paintings on Do paper, and giving gifts to encourage creativity, in order to increase interaction and spread artistic inspiration to the public.

The exhibition will be open to the public until July 30, 2025.
