Can Dot Primary School Library has about 600 books including children's books and reference books.

In the 2023-2024 school year, Can Dot Primary School, Ward 6 currently has 23 classes with 765 students. The school library is not only a place to learn and practice reading habits, but also a place for students in the school to entertain. The school library is very eye-catching with bright but not dazzling colors. The friendly library is an open place for all students and is open from morning to afternoon.

Pham Thi Bang Tam - a student of grade 4/5 at Can Dot Primary School said: "I really like going to the library to read books. When I come here, I look for good comic books to read. There are many good stories and books in the school library. I like reading Vietnamese prodigies the most."

Reading helps children develop research skills and a love of reading.

Since the beginning of 2024, the library has been supported under the “friendly library” model, thanks to which the library has more books and can organize programs to attract students. Currently, the School library has about 600 books including children's books and reference books.

Phan Ngoc Gia Han, a student of class 5/3 at Can Dot Primary School, said: “Every week I go to the school library to read books. I read about 5 books, mainly short stories and comics, so they are easy to read and very interesting.”

The school always focuses on developing a reading culture in the school, arousing students' love for reading, and forming reading habits. This is the best space to attract students to read books and form reading habits for them. Forming a "Reading Culture" in schools

The “Book Library” of Rang Dong Kindergarten, Ward 5 is beautifully decorated, with bright colors and airy. The library floor is carpeted with clean carpets, comfortable seats, a place to paint statues, a place to display many types of books, paintings, and funny images, suitable for children's ages and within reach. At the “Book Library”, the school organizes many useful activities such as book reading days, teachers and children make books together, draw pictures, paint statues, tell stories based on the topic being studied or organize children to read books and discuss books in groups.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy An - Teacher of Rang Dong Kindergarten, Ward 5 said: With the message "The more you read, the more you know", "The more you learn, the more you travel", the teachers of Rang Dong Kindergarten always hope that the school's library will be a place to spread knowledge, and at the same time always be a meeting place for all children who love books to come here to read books. Thereby, it will form a "Reading culture" in the school.
