The Croatian strategist said: “We know that Indonesia is a very strong opponent. Their current situation is very good. Hopefully, this team will achieve the expected results. I also know that this will be a difficult match, especially considering the weather, but the Chinese players fought hard until the last minute.
We played with many young players. They all played quite well. Hopefully in the future, these players will be the future of Chinese football.”
Speaking about the Chinese team's elimination, coach Branko Ivankovic said: "Once again, we did not qualify for the World Cup. However, it is necessary to understand that the Chinese team was in a group with many very strong opponents. We hope to continue to develop and be able to qualify for the World Cup in the next tournaments.

As head coach, I take responsibility for this defeat. However, if we look back at the process since I took over, the Chinese team has attracted many young players and promoted their development. Therefore, the team can be successful in the future."
Finally, coach Branko Ivankovic wished Indonesia success in the fourth qualifying round of the World Cup. He shared: “I think in the next qualifying round, Indonesia will face more difficult opponents. However, this is a strong team. I hope Indonesia will achieve the expected results.”
In the final round, China will face Bahrain, while Indonesia will face Japan. Both matches are just formalities.
