Support over 140 million VND to help flood-affected communes build new rural areas

Ha Linh Commune (Huong Khe, Ha Tinh ) has just received cash and goods worth more than 140 million VND to build new rural areas.

Implementing Decision No. 912-QD/UBND dated April 19, 2023 of the Provincial People's Committee on supporting and sponsoring new rural construction, on October 9, provincial units, departments, branches and enterprises continued to provide resource support to Ha Linh commune, Huong Khe district.

Support over 140 million VND to help flood-affected communes build new rural areas

Representatives of the Maritime Port Authority and the Union of Science and Technology Associations represented cash support and life jackets for the locality.

Of which, Ha Tinh Petroleum Company supported 60 million VND to build a cultural house; Department of Planning and Investment supported 40 million VND to build a solid house for 1 household; Ha Tinh Maritime Port Authority and the Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations supported 20 million VND in cash and 100 life jackets worth more than 20 million VND for village 6.

Currently, the whole province still has 2 communes that have not met the new rural standards, namely Ha Linh and Dien My (Huong Khe district). In order to support localities, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee has assigned 27 units to support and sponsor Ha Linh commune to complete the criteria according to Decision No. 912-QD/UBND dated April 19, 2023.

Currently, Ha Linh commune is urgently completing the criteria to build a profile and submit for appraisal to meet new rural standards.
