The event was accompanied by Vietnam Dairy Products Joint Stock Company ( Vinamilk ) - a pioneer in applying identification and traceability technology in production and business.
The forum was held to affirm Vietnam's determination in building a transparent and modern commodity ecosystem, aiming to improve the competitiveness of Vietnamese goods in the domestic and international markets. This is also a specific activity to implement the Government 's directives in Directive No. 13/CT-TTg dated May 17, 2025 and Official Dispatch No. 72/CD-TTg dated May 24, 2025 on strengthening the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.
According to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Khanh - Executive Director of Research and Development of Vinamilk, transparency of origin is not only a management requirement but also a part of the sustainable development strategy of the enterprise. “For Vinamilk, transparency and traceability are not only management requirements, but also a commitment to sustainable development. We believe that every product needs a "transparency passport" - to protect consumer trust and affirm the position of Vietnamese brands in the global market," Mr. Khanh affirmed.

Vinamilk is one of the first enterprises in Vietnam to deploy the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system since 2007, marking an important step in digital management and supply chain modernization. The ERP system helps enterprises comprehensively manage activities from production, finance, logistics, distribution to human resources, creating a centralized, synchronized and traceable data platform.
Through the integration of ERP with the traceability system, Vinamilk can now store and manage information throughout the entire product life cycle - from input materials, production processes, packaging, transportation to points of sale - helping businesses proactively provide transparent information to consumers, management agencies and international partners.
From a practical perspective, Vinamilk said that applying identification technology brings many benefits: improving management efficiency, reducing operational errors, increasing productivity and especially strengthening consumer confidence in Vietnamese brands.

Vinamilk's shared content has contributed to clarifying the role of enterprises in working with the State to deploy practical solutions to improve management efficiency, while affirming that transparency of origin is not only a responsibility but also a competitive advantage of Vietnamese goods in the global market.
Within the framework of the forum, many delegates also focused on discussing key topics such as: traceability in modern market management; preventing fraud of goods origin in the context of Vietnam participating in more than 20 free trade agreements; standardizing the traceability system in e-commerce; ensuring data security in the digital space; and sharing experiences from typical businesses.
Delegates agreed that developing a unified national traceability platform, applying modern technologies such as blockchain, IoT, QR codes, GS1 standards, etc., will be the key to helping Vietnam build a transparent, fair and sustainable goods market.
The support of pioneering enterprises such as Vinamilk is a testament to the proactive, creative spirit and commitment to accompany the Government in the journey to elevate Vietnamese goods and affirm the position of Vietnamese brands in the global value chain.
