When the Miss Earth Vietnam 2025 organizing committee announced that 3rd runner-up Trinh My Anh will represent Vietnam in international competitions instead of Miss Earth. Ngo Thi Tram Anh, a wave of controversy has once again erupted. The 19-year-old girl from Hai Duong , who was crowned amid many doubts, now faces a new challenge.

Calm before the "storm" of public opinion

Tram Anh said that although she feels a bit regretful about not representing Vietnam at Miss Earth this year, she completely respects the decision of the organizing committee.

Tram Anh affirmed that Miss Earth Vietnam is the result of a long process of training, effort and dedication. She highly appreciated My Anh for her bravery, beauty, charm and fully supported her senior's journey.

Tram Anh crowned Miss Earth Vietnam 2025:

Regarding not being able to compete internationally this year while first runner-up Bui Ly Thien Huong was promised a chance in 2026, Tram Anh does not see it as pressure. She said that if she were to compete internationally, she would think of it as a beautiful dream, but first she wants to improve herself and fulfill her role as Miss Vietnam. If the opportunity comes, she is ready because she has had time to prepare well.

Regarding the change in makeup in the final night that was said to have made her less radiant, Tram Anh admitted that when she watched it again, she felt a bit regretful, but that was also what made her have to be more careful and meticulous in each subsequent appearance.

Before that, right after receiving the crown on the evening of June 28, Tram Anh had to face a "storm" of public opinion about her beauty, her ability to behave, and even rumors of buying the award.

One of the biggest controversies surrounding Tram Anh was her English performance in the final round. Many people said that she "stuttered", "read each word" and "recited the lesson". She admitted that she had read and appreciated all the comments. Tram Anh also realized that her English response was not perfect in the spirit of learning.

"I think when wearing the crown, I also have to learn how to face public opinion. I was quite pressured when I was crowned, but gradually I understood that I could not control other people's thoughts. I chose to listen more, pay attention to comments, from there I learned to be calm and focus on improving myself every day," Tram Anh shared with VietNamNet.

Born in 2006, Tram Anh is currently a first-year student majoring in Business Administration at the Vietnam Women's Academy. She shared that studying Business Administration helps her know how to plan and manage time effectively. Tram Anh also learned how to communicate, work in groups and handle situations flexibly, these skills help her in the competition journey to improve herself better every day.

Standing at 1.73m tall with measurements of 89-65-98cm, Tram Anh's beauty journey began in 2022 when she was crowned Miss Elegant Student at Xuan Mai High School. In 2024, Tram Anh continued to win the title of Miss Elegant Student nationwide when she was just a first-year student.

Coming from a family with a father who is a Lieutenant Colonel in the army and a mother who is a freelancer, Tram Anh said she was trained in discipline, perseverance and responsibility from an early age. It is these lessons that help her to always strive constantly on all her journeys as well as participating in Miss Earth Vietnam 2025.

Never had a lover, lost direction

At the age of 19, Tram Anh revealed that she does not have a boyfriend because she wants to focus on studying and fulfilling her responsibilities. Regarding the criteria for choosing a boyfriend in the future, she believes that there is no specific standard or measurement, just that he must be kind, sincere, respectful and live positively.

Tram Anh once had a period of disorientation, feeling like she didn't know what she was suited for. Thanks to that, it helped her learn to be patient with herself, try harder and dare to step out of her comfort zone.

A typical day for the 19-year-old beauty queen is quite simple. She usually wakes up early, goes to school and works according to her study schedule, and is currently taking English and MC courses. In her free time, Tram Anh likes to read books, travel, and cook.
