Miss Thanh Thuy parades on the street when returning home after being crowned.

Nearly a week after being crowned Miss International 2024, Miss Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy returned to Vietnam. As soon as she appeared at the airport, she was surrounded by fans.

Wearing a traditional ao dai and the Miss International 2024 crown, she received a warm welcome from hundreds of fans, family and friends.

After leaving the airport, Thanh Thuy boarded a double-decker bus specially prepared for the journey through the central routes of Ho Chi Minh City.

The parade passed through many important locations and streets of the city, including Nguyen Van Troi Street, Nam Ky Khoi Nghia, Independence Palace, Dong Khoi Street, City Theater...

Standing on the double-decker bus, the beauty queen always smiled and waved friendly to fans and people eagerly following the journey.

Many audiences also printed photos and held banners to welcome Thanh Thuy.

“I feel very happy and touched because everyone has been waiting and welcoming me so warmly. I would like to thank the audience for their love. Today I have truly returned to the loving arms of the Vietnamese audience. I am truly happy and proud,” Thanh Thuy confided.

With the noble crown, Thanh Thuy will shoulder a new responsibility and mission, not only representing Vietnam but also being an inspirational role model for women around the world .

Huynh Thi Thanh Thuy was born in 2002 in Da Nang . The beauty is 1m76 tall. Before being crowned Miss International 2024, she won the crown of Miss Vietnam 2022.

Thanh Thuy won the Miss Student Award of the University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang in 2021), 1st Runner-up of the Elegant Students - Students of Danang contest in 2021 and was one of 36 students participating in the student exchange program at Ubon Ratchathani University, Thailand.

Thanh Thuy is currently studying at two universities: University of Foreign Languages (University of Danang) and Greenwich University Vietnam. She has basic communication skills in English and Korean.

During her 2 years as Miss Vietnam, Thanh Thuy actively participated in artistic and community activities, participating in many projects to help people in difficult circumstances.
