Hoa Phat supplies prestressed steel for Dong Dang

Hoa Phat Prestressed Steel Company Limited is proud to be the only unit capable of manufacturing and supplying high quality prestressed steel cables in Vietnam.

The Dong Dang – Tra Linh Expressway project connecting Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces is implemented under the public-private partnership (PPP) model, with a total length of 121 km. Of which, phase 1 (93.35 km long), total investment capital is 14,300 billion VND.

Hoa Phat's high-quality prestressed steel cables (PC Strand) with diameters of ɸ 12.7mm and ɸ 15.24mm will be used for the Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway overpass girder project. To be approved for the project, Hoa Phat's high-strength prestressed steel must meet the strict standards of the project management board, investor, supervision consultant and construction contractor.

Hoa Phat prestressed steel cables are manufactured on modern technological lines imported from Europe, which can produce 7-strand PC Strand cables, meeting American standards ASTM A416, British BS 5896, EU EN-10138-3... or according to customer standards, providing the market with 1x7 cables of 250ksi and 270 ksi durability with nominal diameters from 9mm to 16mm.

Hoa Phat prestressed steel is produced on a modern technological line imported from Europe that can produce 7-strand PC Strand cables, meeting American standards ASTM A416, British BS 5896, EU EN-10138-3.

Hoa Phat prestressed steel has been exported to demanding markets such as: USA, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, to countries and territories in the region such as Taiwan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Myanmar...

In the domestic market, Hoa Phat's PC Strand steel is widely used in large projects such as: North-South Expressway Project - Vung Ang - Bung Section Component Project, National Highway 45 - Nghi Son Construction Investment Component Project; National Exhibition Fair Center Project; Ho Chi Minh City National University Project as well as projects such as ITERA Hanoi Software Development Center, AEON Mall Thanh Hoa Commercial Center, AEON Mall Hai Duong, factory projects in industrial park clusters such as Johnson Bac Ninh, Ehua Bac Ninh, Mahang Dung Quat, etc.

Hoa Phat prestressed steel has advantages in supplying goods and transporting, contributing to the acceleration of key projects, accompanying contractors to achieve the goal of implementing 3,000km of North-South expressway and the expansion phase in 2025 under the direction of the Prime Minister.
