(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of September 23, the delegation of Japanese Crown Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko landed at Da Nang International Airport, beginning a visit to Quang Nam and Da Nang.

The welcoming ceremony for the Japanese Royal Delegation was solemnly held by the city government at Da Nang International Airport. According to the schedule, during the visit to Quang Nam and Da Nang from September 23 to 25, Japanese Crown Prince Akishino and Princess Kiko will visit Hoi An ancient town and attend a reception with Quang Nam province. On September 24, the delegation will visit My Son Sanctuary - a world cultural heritage in Quang Nam; attend an audience with Da Nang city leaders. In Da Nang, the Crown Prince and Princess will meet the Japanese community in Vietnam, officials of the Japan International Cooperation Agency - JICA and officials and staff of the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang.

The delegation also has a scheduled meeting with a former Japanese intern at the Da Nang Oncology Hospital before returning home on the morning of September 25. The activities of the Japanese Crown Prince and Princess in Da Nang and Quang Nam this time are part of the official visit at the invitation of the Vietnamese State from September 20 to September 25, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan relations.
