Not only was President Ho Chi Minh a shining example of the virtues of "Diligence, Frugality, Integrity, Righteousness, and Selflessness," but he was also a beautiful symbol of compassion and love for humanity.

Uncle Ho's compassionate and selfless heart has become a noble philosophy of life, a crystallization of the traditional values of the nation, humanity, and the era. It is an "inherited asset" that generations of Vietnamese people in general, and in our province in particular, study and promote to build prosperous and happy families, hometowns, and countries.

Upholding the spirit of learning from and following President Ho Chi Minh's example of compassion, at the end of 2021, the Provincial Women's Union responded to and implemented the "Godmother Program" launched by the Vietnam Women's Union to support the care and nurturing of orphaned children affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The program quickly spread, receiving attention and support from the community, connecting and mobilizing female cadres, members, philanthropists, and businesses to sponsor and help 87 orphaned children in difficult circumstances to overcome challenges in life and education. In addition to the above program, the Women's Union at all levels also maintained and implemented other models: "Shelter of Love," Nguyen Thi Dinh scholarships, "Rice Jar of Love," and "Mutual Support" models to help members and women in difficult circumstances, single mothers, policy beneficiary families, and poor but studious students…

The Fatherland Front at all levels in the province has effectively launched and implemented the emulation movement "For the poor - Leaving no one behind," mobilizing social resources to care for and help the poor and vulnerable groups to improve their lives. In 2022 alone, through the implementation of the movement, the "For the Poor" Fund Campaign Committee from the provincial to the grassroots level mobilized and received support from agencies, units, businesses, and philanthropists inside and outside the province totaling 24.5 billion VND, creating a source of funding to support the construction of 226 solidarity houses, repair 9 damaged houses, support poor but studious students, support production, medical examinations and treatment, and purchase health insurance cards for poor and near-poor households... During the Lunar New Year of the Rabbit in 2023, the Fatherland Front at all levels chaired and coordinated the organization of receiving, distributing, and compiling donations from organizations, agencies, units, businesses, and individuals inside and outside the province, totaling over 70,909 gifts with a total value of over 22.7 billion VND to promptly implement social welfare programs and take care of the Lunar New Year for eligible beneficiaries as prescribed, ensuring that all poor and near-poor households and families in difficult circumstances received support. Despite the difficulties, everyone was able to celebrate Tet in a joyful and warm atmosphere.

Contributing to spreading the message of love and compassion, and making the study and emulation of President Ho Chi Minh's teachings on kindness a regular and effective practice, in the first quarter of 2023, the Youth Union of Tien Thuan Garment Co., Ltd. signed a commitment to sponsor 3 disadvantaged students who are children of the company's Youth Union members; the Youth Union of Ninh Thuan Vocational College organized the "Night of Compassion" program, forming a volunteer team to travel throughout Phan Rang-Thap Cham city to donate 66 gift packages of cakes and drinks to homeless people and poor people working late at night; and coordinated the "Warm Clothes to School" program, donating warm clothes to more than 100 students at Phuoc Binh C Primary School (Bac Ai)... Youth Union branches at all levels in the province continued to effectively organize volunteer campaigns; coordinating with medical centers and young doctors' associations to organize medical examinations, nutritional and health consultations, and free medicine distribution; Visiting, giving gifts, awarding scholarships, and sponsoring students in difficult circumstances. The "Voluntary Blood Donation" movement has been promoted by the Red Cross Society, various sectors, organizations, and localities through widespread propaganda and mobilization efforts. "Every drop of blood given saves a life," the meaningful and humane message of the movement has thus been better understood, empathized with, and shared by officials, civil servants, and people of all walks of life in the province. More and more people are willing to donate a portion of their blood to promptly save critically ill patients. In the first quarter of 2023 alone, the provincial Red Cross Society mobilized 1,118 people to donate 931 units of 250 ml blood. The Youth Union of the Provincial Public Security Department launched the "Living Blood Bank" Club with 366 members and young police officers from various units and localities participating. The aim is to mobilize a "living blood source" within the club to promptly donate blood and help save comrades, colleagues, and citizens in emergency and treatment situations. Blood donation is a noble act, reflecting the tradition of mutual support and compassion of our nation, contributing to the health sector's efforts to address the shortage of blood reserves and bringing life and joy to many patients.

Party committees, government agencies, the Fatherland Front, and mass organizations at all levels in the province have also seriously and effectively led and implemented the building and maintenance of activities, models, and clubs to help offenders reintegrate into the community; organized visits and gift-giving to those temporarily detained or imprisoned... thereby creating conditions for those who once made mistakes to have the opportunity and strength to reform, reintegrate into the community, and become useful citizens for their families and society. This contributes significantly to the effective prevention of recidivism, ensuring security and order, in accordance with the moral traditions of the nation, the compassionate and selfless thoughts of President Ho Chi Minh, and building increasingly prosperous and happy families, hometowns, and countries.
