
Hoi An will also increase exchanges and learn from experiences with localities and countries in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network; develop partnerships and seek support from international organizations and relevant countries.
Specific activities to be implemented include establishing an executive board, a coordinating team, and a consulting team; promoting information and communication work; developing the project "Hoi An - Creative City for the period 2024 - 2027, with a vision to 2032"; organizing seminars and workshops to complete the project and learn from creative practice experiences, and soliciting feedback from experts and managers.
In addition, Hoi An City will also organize a performance and music exchange event by violinist Vilmos Oláh (Hungary); the event "The 3rd Hoi An Craft Flower, 2024"; receiving the title of National Intangible Cultural Heritage for the hammock weaving craft of parasol trees and the bamboo and coconut craft of Cam Thanh; Folk song and Bai Choi singing festival in 2024; Hoi An International Lantern Festival 2024.
