At the same time, it has encouraged members to uphold the revolutionary tradition and the spirit of "Uncle Ho's Army", actively participate in activities and complete all assigned tasks. In particular, it has coordinated with the Youth Union to organize exchanges and discussions to review the glorious historical values ​​of the Party, educate the ideology of cadres, members and youth union members in the spirit of determination to protect the Party and fulfill the political tasks of BSR. In the past year, the Association also organized visits, encouragement and gifts for members in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses before the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024. In particular, the Veterans Association has created and initiated many practical solutions, contributing to the production and business activities of BSR, helping to reduce daily production costs by over 10 billion VND and bringing productivity and efficiency to the factory. In particular, the initiatives and solutions implemented by the members of the Association of War Veterans include "Research on the application of Nano paint to protect equipment and pipelines of Dung Quat Oil Refinery", "Reliability treatment at the sealing surface of the E-2316 heat exchanger", Solution to reduce the time to re-install the heat exchanger for E-502 at the PP plastic pellet production workshop", "Solution to manufacture dust suppression equipment during the catalyst replacement process at the NET GAS CHLORIDE TREATER & LPG CHLORIDE TREATER equipment of D-1302AB & D-1308AB"... These solutions also helped members win many awards for initiatives and creativity of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. In 2024, the Association of War Veterans of BSR also always upholds the spirit of exemplary behavior, thereby, no member has violated and contributed positively to the overall achievements of BSR. Taking the lead in the movements of the unit, the Association of War Veterans of BSR has actively grasped information in the area to deploy propaganda activities, disseminate and mobilize the masses to comply with the Regulations on the safety corridor to protect Dung Quat Oil Refinery at sea, on land and compensate for site clearance for the project to upgrade and expand the plant. Coordinate with the Provincial Military Command to complete the training course for the 37mm-1 Anti-Aircraft Artillery Company. In addition, establish an Assault Team to promote the nature and tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" on the new front of "production and business" and actively support the work of ensuring order, safety and fire prevention during the 5th overall maintenance phase of Dung Quat Oil Refinery. Speaking at the conference, comrade Bui Ngoc Duong - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of BSR acknowledged and commended the spirit of the Association of War Veterans in setting an example and being enthusiastic in the political tasks and production and business of BSR in 2024.
