The event is of great significance in promoting growth and integration, a place for connection, integration and prosperity."
Promoting multilateral trade and international integration advantages
The impressive scale of the Fair has attracted the strong participation of many international enterprises. Mr. Nguyen Ba Phu, Deputy Director of the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that the Fair will be an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to find partners, take advantage of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) and expand the local export market.
Representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism also hope that the Fair will be a golden opportunity to spread the image of Vietnam to international friends, promote shopping tourism and introduce unique culinary cultures of regions.
Present at the press conference, several retail business owners shared that Vietnam's Autumn Fair 2025 has an incredibly diverse convergence of OCOP products and quality agricultural products. "This event is an ideal opportunity for us to establish long-term partnerships, minimize supply chain risks and take advantage to strengthen the role of businesses as well as Vietnamese goods in the global supply chain," a business representative emphasized.
Stimulating consumption and domestic growth
In the context of the global economy still having many fluctuations, promoting the domestic market is the top priority. The 2025 Autumn Fair is expected to create a big push, contributing to stimulating consumption in the last months of the year and preparing for the Lunar New Year.
The expected number of visitors of 500,000 per day during the 11-day event not only generates large direct revenue but also spreads positive effects to related service industries such as tourism, accommodation, and transportation. The event becomes a new growth engine, helping to balance the decline in export activities.
Economist and market expert Tran Manh Hung analyzed that organizing a trade event of unprecedented scale is a correct macroeconomic strategy. It helps narrow the gap between producers and consumers, reduce intermediary costs, and directly inject money into the economy. The success of the Fair will be an important indicator for GDP in the fourth quarter of 2025 and help Vietnam achieve its annual growth target. This event also reflects the Government's confidence in the resilience and purchasing power of the people.
The fair is an opportunity for large businesses to meet small suppliers and sign contracts in principle for bulk purchases.
Within the framework of the Fair, the Ministry of Industry and Trade will organize many specialized seminars, focusing on hot issues such as digital transformation in retail, cold logistics for agricultural products and building national brands. This is an opportunity for large enterprises to meet small suppliers, sign principle contracts on large-scale purchases. This helps reduce input costs for large corporations and create a stable source of income for cooperatives and SMEs.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Sinh Nhat Tan also affirmed that the Fair is proof that the Government is always ready to create the most favorable conditions for businesses to recover and develop, contributing to the goal of developing a sustainable domestic market of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The Autumn Fair 2025, with six records announced, has proven that Vietnam is not only a manufacturing center but is also emerging as a regional trading center, using large-scale trade events as a lever to accelerate integration and growth./.
