Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross: Opening humanitarian fund boxes at post offices across the province

On the afternoon of August 5, the leader of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross Society said that the society had just coordinated with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Post Office to open humanitarian fund boxes located at post offices across the province.

Accordingly, the two sides have coordinated to open humanitarian fund boxes located at Khanh Hoa Provincial Post Office, Cam Ranh Post Office, Dien Khanh Post Office, Cam Lam Post Office, Khanh Vinh Post Office, Khanh Son Post Office; the amount collected is more than 32 million VND. This source of money will be used by the Provincial Red Cross Society to carry out humanitarian assistance activities such as: Supporting orphans, lonely elderly people, people with disabilities, households in difficult circumstances, affected by natural disasters, epidemics, etc. This is an activity within the coordination program between the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society and the Vietnam Post Corporation. With the message "Connect, share and spread", since 2019, in Khanh Hoa province, humanitarian fund boxes have been placed at post offices in communes and wards (old) located in the center, where many people often come to carry out transaction activities. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for people and benefactors to participate in support. The contributions are periodically counted by both parties, transparently and used for the right purposes according to regulations. It is expected that in August, the Provincial Red Cross Society will continue to coordinate with the Khanh Hoa Provincial Post Office to open humanitarian fund boxes at the remaining post offices.

The charity fundraiser at post offices is a practical and sustainable donation channel that spreads the spiritual values of mutual love and support of the nation. Thereby, it contributes to bringing a better life to the disadvantaged in society.
