Busy at the Dong Dang-Tra Linh highway construction site

The Dong Dang - Tra Linh Expressway project, a vital route connecting Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces with the national transport network, is entering the final stage. Construction units are determined to make all-out efforts to reach the finish line, open the route in 2025, and complete the entire route in 2026.

With a length of more than 121 km, passing through rugged terrain, many tunnels through mountains, bridges over rivers and streams, this is considered one of the projects with countless challenges. Despite being affected by weather, complex geology and construction pressure, investors and contractors have mobilized more than 3,200 personnel, 1,450 equipment, organized construction in "3 shifts, 4 teams" on nearly 300 points to closely follow the progress and critical path. Along with the support and removal of obstacles from local authorities and people, the project not only realizes the aspiration of bringing Cao Bang closer to economic centers, but also opens up new development space for the entire Northeast region.

With a length of more than 121 km, passing through rugged terrain, many sections had to be tunneled through mountains.

Currently, contractors have mobilized more than 3,229 personnel and 1,456 machines and equipment, implementing construction on 287 construction sites to ensure progress to the finish line by the end of 2025.

The project, when completed, will facilitate socio-economic development for the northeastern region.

The Dong Dang - Tra Linh expressway project has a total length of 121 km, divided into 2 investment phases, with a total investment of nearly 23,000 billion VND.
