Comrade Nguyen Hung Vuong, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee chaired the conference.

In 2023, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee from the provincial to grassroots levels actively innovated the content and methods of operation, effectively implementing the work program. The Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels promoted the role of chairing, consulting, coordinating and unifying the actions of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; campaigns and emulation movements were implemented with focus and key points, arousing the creativity of the people to participate in economic development, solving social issues, building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and consolidating the great national unity bloc.

Notable achievements include the implementation of the Project to eliminate temporary and dilapidated housing for poor households; the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas"; the Movement " Tuyen Quang joins hands to handle waste and fight against plastic waste", and implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals.

In 2023, the whole province will support the renovation and repair of over 2,000 houses for poor households, with a total mobilized budget of over 300 billion VND; build nearly 600 models of civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals; maintain over 2,480 self-managed groups on environmental protection; and build 2,330 new pits and tanks for waste treatment.

Social supervision and criticism work has gradually become more systematic and effective. During the year, the province hosted 171 supervisions and 189 social criticism conferences...

The achievements of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in 2023 have contributed to the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in the province to successfully implement the set goals and tasks.

At the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Manh Tuan gave an overview of the province's socio-economic situation in 2023 and key tasks in 2024.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council acknowledged and commended the results of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and its member organizations in the past year.

He requested that the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels and member organizations continue to strengthen the great national unity bloc, widely gather all classes of people to ensure high unity in ideology and action.

The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees at all levels continue to thoroughly grasp, study and effectively implement the resolutions, directives, regulations and conclusions of the Central and the province; well prepare the content, documents, personnel and conditions to successfully organize the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels, term 2024 - 2029.

Next, effectively implement the Campaigns "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas", "Day for the poor", "Vietnamese people prioritize using Vietnamese goods"; Movement "Tuyen Quang joins hands to handle waste and fight against plastic waste"; preserve and promote national cultural identity; practice civilized lifestyle in weddings and funerals; promote the role of prestigious people and key members of the movement in religions; effectively fight and prevent social evils.

At the same time, propagate and mobilize people to support the province's major policies and orientations, especially the clearance of traffic routes, key projects and works... The Fatherland Front at all levels continues to improve the quality and effectiveness of supervision, social criticism, and participation in Party building and government building of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; preside over and coordinate with socio-political organizations to proactively propose organizing dialogues between leaders of Party committees and governments with union members, association members and people...

The conference completed and negotiated to elect Ms. Tran Thi Hoan, Secretary of Son Duong District Youth Union, to join the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, holding the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, term XIV, 2019 - 2024.

On this occasion, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front awarded the Medal for the Cause of National Unity to 73 individuals in the province; the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag to 1 collective; awarded Certificates of Merit to 55 collectives and 64 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Front in 2023.
