Chairman of An Giang Provincial Journalists Association Tan Van Ngu awarded Certificates of Merit to members
Speaking at the award ceremony, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Journalists Association Tan Van Ngu emphasized: Over the past time, under the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the management and operation of the government, the team of members, the provincial press, regardless of any circumstances, is still passionate, loves the profession, and is ready to meet the requirements of innovation. Through many forms and genres of journalism, the press agencies and the team of journalists in the province have made significant contributions to the development of An Giang. The whole province currently has 4 press agency branches, with 153 members who are cadres, reporters, editors, and journalists.
An Giang's press has developed strongly along with the development of the province. Press works are constantly being created with a focus on quality, constantly being innovated, but still maintaining the Party's viewpoints and political lines and national cultural identity; aiming at truth - goodness - beauty, promoting the good, criticizing the bad, building love for the homeland. Along with the general development of the whole country, the appearance, quantity, quality, and press publications of An Giang are increasingly improved, with high professionalism. In recent years, many press works have won high prizes at national and regional press awards, gradually meeting the trend of the 4.0 industrial revolution.
On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), Chairman of An Giang Provincial Journalists Association Tan Van Ngu acknowledged the contributions of journalist members to the overall achievements of the association, including many outstanding members in the branches: An Giang Newspaper, An Giang Radio - Television Station, That Son Magazine.
