Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association exchanges working experiences with Thai colleagues

On August 14, the working delegation of the Thai Journalists Association led by Ms. Norrinee Ruangnoo, President of the Association, and the working delegation of the Vietnam Journalists Association visited and worked with press agencies of Vinh Phuc province.

According to Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial Journalists Association Nguyen Dinh Bang, the visit demonstrates the interest of the Thai Journalists Association in Vinh Phuc province, the Journalists Association and the province's press agencies, as well as the good friendly cooperation between press agencies of Thailand and Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Bang introduced some general and outstanding features of the history, geography, socio -economic development of the province; the cooperative and friendly relationship between Thailand and Vinh Phuc province. In 2016, the Vietnam - Thailand Friendship Association of Vinh Phuc province was established. The province has always maintained good relations with the Thai Embassy, ​​the Thai Investment Promotion Office in Hanoi...

Mr. Nguyen Dinh Bang hopes that information about Vinh Phuc and investment cooperation opportunities in the province will be widely disseminated by Thai colleagues, contributing to promoting cooperation, friendship and investment attraction between Vinh Phuc and Thailand. Thereby supporting connections for Vinh Phuc province to establish friendly cooperation with a locality of Thailand.

At the meeting, Deputy Director in charge of Vinh Phuc Provincial Radio and Television Station Nguyen Manh Tuan introduced some general and outstanding features of the organizational structure and specialized departments of the Station. At the same time, he pointed out the advantages and difficulties in the press activities of Vinh Phuc province in general, and of the Provincial Radio and Television Station in particular in the work of information and propaganda, serving the political work of the locality and the people in the new situation.

Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan hopes that the Thai Journalists Association will share practical lessons in the field of journalism between the two countries so that they can learn and gain new experiences in journalism, in order to best serve the needs of local readers.

Ms. Norrinee Ruangnoo, President of the Thai Journalists Association, affirmed that this working trip is an opportunity for the press agencies of the two countries to share and learn from each other's experiences, and find new, creative and effective ways of working in the field of journalism and media. Members of the Thai Journalists Association delegation will share the difficulties as well as good experiences and unique ways of working of the Thai press in the digital age.

On this occasion, Ms. Norrinee Ruangnoo introduced some provinces and cities of Thailand with many similarities that Vinh Phuc can sign a sister relationship with. After the working trip to Vinh Phuc, the Thai Journalists Association will have specific activities to promote the image of Vinh Phuc land and people to Thai people and businesses; contributing to improving understanding, friendship, and fostering good relations between the two countries.
