Scientific seminar on the history of formation and development of Han Thuyen High School

(BTV) On the morning of January 18, the Department of Education and Training (DET) coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize a scientific seminar on "History of formation and development of Han Thuyen High School". Attending the seminar were comrade Le Xuan Loi, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; scientists and generations of outstanding staff, teachers and students of the school.

Offering flowers and delivering a welcome speech at the Workshop, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Loi affirmed the long tradition of culture, studiousness, and academic achievements of Bac Ninh. Especially the results and achievements of the province's education sector in recent years. Including the contribution of Han Thuyen High School, contributing to the fame of Bac Ninh learning land. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that: With the participation of scientists , teachers and former students today; the Workshop will provide a deeper insight into the formation and development process of the school, thereby continuing to build Han Thuyen High School to develop more and more, worthy of the trust and expectations of the people.

Workshop Chairs

The workshop attracted 19 presentations from scientists and researchers focusing on 3 topics, including: Overview of the context of Bac Ninh province and the birth of Kiem Bi and Thanh Chung schools, the predecessors of Han Thuyen High School. The formation process and development stages of the school and Achievements and development orientation of Han Thuyen High School. The majority agreed on the point of view: Han Thuyen High School, the predecessor, appeared in 1921 with the name Kiem Bi school, Thanh Chung school, then Bac Ninh High School, until 1946, the school was officially named Han Thuyen High School. And from this school, thousands of students were trained. Among them, many students were assigned important responsibilities by the Party and the State, many of whom heroically sacrificed for the cause of building and defending the fatherland.

Today, Han Thuyen High School has been developing impressively, becoming the largest school in the province with 45 classes and over 2,000 students. Many of its indicators and emulation movements are among the top in the province. Determining the time frame for the school's establishment is important; so that teachers and students of Han Thuyen High School can continue to build and develop, truly becoming a typical high school in the province and in the region.
