Bac Ninh: Concentrated nursing for nearly 4,200 meritorious people

BAC NINH - From October 20 to 25, the Nursing Center for Meritorious People of Bac Ninh province received and organized rotational nursing for 115 wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and relatives of martyrs in Lang Giang commune and two wards: Da Mai and Tan An.

Here, war veterans receive care and health recovery from medical staff through therapeutic methods such as massage, acupressure, herbal foot baths, visits to historical sites, documentary films, and participation in cultural and artistic exchange activities to recall the revolutionary struggle traditions of the nation.

People who have rendered meritorious service are using rehabilitation equipment to improve their health at the Provincial Center for the Care of Meritorious Individuals.

Since the beginning of the year, the Center has taken turns caring for nearly 4,200 meritorious people in the whole province, reaching 73% of the plan. It is known that according to the approved plan, in 2025, the unit will organize care for 5,700 wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and relatives of martyrs (an increase of 1,900 people compared to the previous year). Of these, nearly 3,100 people will be cared for in rotation at the unit, the rest will be organized in nursing sessions at resorts in the two provinces of Quang Ninh and Thanh Hoa.

The total cost of implementation was over 28.6 billion VND, of which over 14.3 billion VND was allocated from the central government, and the remainder was contributed by the province (including cash, accommodation subsidies, transportation, and entrance tickets).
