Bac Ninh: Donating health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances.

BAC NINH - On the morning of December 11th, at its headquarters in Bac Giang ward, the Provincial Social Insurance agency organized the program "Donating health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances, bringing a warm Tet holiday to the poor in the Spring of the Year of the Horse 2026". Leaders of the Provincial Social Insurance agency and sponsors attended and presented the cards to the people.

At the event, 40 health insurance cards, worth over 41 million VND in total, were presented to disadvantaged individuals residing in the wards of Bac Giang , Da Mai, Tien Phong, Tan Tien, Tan An, and Yen Dung. This is the opening activity in a series of events to donate health insurance cards to people in difficult circumstances in the area.

Health insurance policy has always been identified as one of the two important pillars of the social security system. Over the years, the Party and the State have paid attention to leading and directing the implementation of social security policies to move towards the goal of universal health insurance, ensuring fairness in healthcare for the people.

Health insurance has profound humanitarian significance due to its sharing mechanism among participants, helping to alleviate the financial burden when ill, especially for serious illnesses.

Speaking at the event, a representative of the organizing committee emphasized the significance of the card distribution activity at the end of the year, as these practical gifts sent to disadvantaged families contribute to spreading the spirit of "mutual support and compassion".

Representatives from the provincial Social Insurance agency expressed their hope that the supported households would continue to strive to overcome difficulties and proactively participate in health insurance in the future to protect their own health and that of their families.

The leaders of the Provincial Social Insurance Department presented letters of appreciation to the sponsors.

The organizing committee expresses its gratitude to the businesses, organizations, and philanthropists who have partnered in social welfare activities; thanks the Party committees and authorities of the wards for their effective coordination in implementing the program; and acknowledges the participation of the people, contributing to the positive spread of the program in the community.

On December 12th, the program continued in Chu Ward and Luc Nam Commune. During this phase, 481 health insurance cards were distributed to disadvantaged people throughout the province.
