Online seminar on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology

The workshop was held online with 63 connecting points in provinces and cities. Attending the workshop at the central connecting point were comrades: Le Thanh Long, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen Kim Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training ; Nguyen Thi Doan, former Vice President, President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education; leaders of the Central Propaganda Department... At the provincial connecting point, there were representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department, the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Association for Promoting Education and a number of provincial departments and branches attending the workshop.

In her opening speech at the workshop, President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education Nguyen Thi Doan emphasized: The workshop was held on the occasion of the 55th anniversary of the implementation of President Ho Chi Minh 's Testament. This is an opportunity for us to have a more comprehensive view of the role of people in the process of building and developing the country according to President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on "Good citizens, good cadres, good workers" and the implementation of Uncle Ho's thoughts on this issue in all areas of work as well as each person.

The workshop was organized to study more deeply President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on the role of people in each field, the criteria for evaluating good citizens and good cadres in building and developing the country in every revolutionary stage. At the same time, it is an important basis for political and social organizations and schools, based on the opinions of scientists and from the practices presented in the presentations and articles for the workshop, to have better plans in building training plans, fostering the workforce in agencies and units; in building appropriate training programs, contents and methods to have a "red, specialized" workforce.

The workshop listened to a number of presentations by associate professors, doctors, teachers, and managers on the following topics: Wisdom in learning, awareness from Uncle Ho's teachings; from Uncle Ho's educational ideology, looking at the reality of the country's education and suggesting some things to do; applying Ho Chi Minh's ideology in improving the quality of human resources in schools; promoting the role of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education in contributing to training and fostering good citizens in the new era...

Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long acknowledged and highly appreciated the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education's coordination with the Central Propaganda Department and the Ministry of Education and Training to organize this important conference.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the Central Propaganda Department to continue to pay attention to and closely direct the activities of encouraging learning, encouraging talents, and building a learning society. At the same time, he requested the Ministry of Education and Training and other agencies, ministries, branches, and organizations to closely coordinate with the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education to effectively carry out a number of key tasks: Continue to promote the study and follow of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle; respond to the implementation of the movement "The whole country competes to build a learning society, promote lifelong learning"; thoroughly grasp President Ho Chi Minh's thoughts on good citizens and good cadres to apply to constantly improving the quality of the team of teachers and members; strengthen propaganda about typical examples, good models, and effective methods to create a spread in society about the spirit of self-study, regular study, and lifelong study; strengthen direction and urge the application of information technology in organizing activities...

Concluding the workshop, President of the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education Nguyen Thi Doan thanked the delegates for their comments and affirmed that the workshop had been successfully organized and achieved its objectives.
