Provincial Literature and Arts Association summarizes the first 6 months of the year

Comrade Tran Thi Hien, Vice President of the Provincial Literature and Arts Association, awarded the first prize to the author who won the "Hoa ban Dien Bien " photo contest.

The Provincial Literature and Arts Association currently has 156 members operating in 13 affiliated associations and branches. In the first 6 months of the year, the Association's members have always been steadfast in following the Party's guidelines, operating in accordance with the charter, complying with the principles, and no member has spoken or written in a manner that deviates from the Party's viewpoints and policies, or the State's policies and laws. The Association has published 3 issues of Dien Bien Literature and Arts Magazine, with a print run of 1,800 copies; the associations and branches have edited and published 2 Literature and Arts books; 1 work of a member has been ordered by the Vietnam Folk Literature and Arts Association for publication support. The publication of literary and artistic publications is guaranteed to comply with the law, serving the political tasks of the province. In addition, the Association also organized a field trip to Sin Thau commune, Muong Nhe district for 15 members, obtaining a number of quality works published in Dien Bien Literature and Arts Magazine; Coordinated with the Dien Bien Provincial Children's House and units in Nam Po district to organize a painting contest with the theme "Life around me" for primary and secondary school students in Na Hy commune, attracting 1,219 entries... Along with that, the Association continues to promote the Creative Award, promote literary, artistic and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style" in Dien Bien province, period 2021 - 2025; the 8th Golden Hammer and Sickle Award; the 4th National Press Award on anti-corruption and negativity. Launched and encouraged members to participate in competitions, festivals, exhibitions and awards organized by all levels, sectors and provincial Associations...

Comrade Nguyen Hung Cuong, Deputy Director of the Department of Information and Communications, awarded the Second Prize to the winning authors of the Writing Contest "New Rural Areas of Dien Bien Province, 2022".

Also at the preliminary meeting, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association awarded the "Hoa Ban Dien Bien" Photo Contest and the "Nong Thoi Nam Dien Bien Province, 2022" Writing Contest. Accordingly, in response to the Hoa Ban Festival in 2023 and on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Photography and Cinema of Vietnam, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association launched the "Hoa Ban Dien Bien" Photo Contest to all members and people. The contest attracted more than 200 entries. As a result, 9 works were awarded, including: 1 first prize; 2 second prizes; 2 third prizes; 4 consolation prizes. With the "Nong Thoi Nam Dien Bien Province, 2022" Writing Contest, the Organizing Committee awarded 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 2 third prizes, and 4 consolation prizes to the authors and winning works.
