More than 130,000 business households have registered to use electronic invoices.

According to the Tax Department, up to now, there have been over 130,000 business households nationwide registered to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers. Of these, there are over 20,000 households with revenue under 1 billion VND, which are not required but still voluntarily registered to use.

The main reason why many businesses proactively register is because they clearly recognize the benefits of electronic invoices in terms of revenue transparency, convenience in transactions with customers and reducing risks in bookkeeping. Many localities also recognize that the use of cash registers helps businesses control sales activities better, while creating prestige with partners and banks when they need to borrow capital to expand production.

To encourage the expansion of this model, tax authorities at all levels are implementing many support measures such as free training, instructions on software installation and use, and coordinating with service providers to reduce initial investment costs for business households.
